The requirement

Flow meters are commissioned on site, often in a plant room or a pit. The engineer needs flow rate and totaliser; the maintenance team needs diagnostic states, pipe parameters and signal quality.

What we supplied

  • Segment layout with a dominant flow field and a totaliser field
  • Secondary indicators for units, pipe size and signal status
  • Transflective structure: readable in daylight, backlit for pits and cabinets
  • Wide temperature range for outdoor and unheated installations

Design note

Commissioning screens are used a few times in a meter’s life but decide whether the installer succeeds. We keep them readable rather than cramming them into the smallest field.
