The requirement

A note counter is used continuously, so the display has to be readable at a glance from a standing position and must state error conditions precisely — a jam, a suspected counterfeit or a double feed each need their own message.

What we supplied

  • Segment layout with a large count field plus batch and mode indicators
  • Dedicated error indicators rather than a single generic alarm
  • Backlight with defined brightness for counter environments
  • Outline matched to the existing machine fascia

Result

Operators identify the error from the display instead of opening the machine, which shortens downtime in continuous use.
