The requirement
A reversing display is read while manoeuvring, in seconds, often in poor light. Distance bands and the direction of the nearest obstacle have to be unmistakable without reading a number.

- High-contrast structure with a backlight matched to the vehicle interior

Design note
Audio plus display is the safe combination: the display confirms which side, the buzzer communicates urgency. We agree the segment set with the customer against both.
