The requirement

The controller is mounted on a wall and read from a distance, so character height mattered more than the number of parameters shown.

What we supplied

  • Segment layout with an oversized temperature field and secondary fields for fan speed and timer
  • Filter-life indicator and mode icons
  • Transflective structure: readable in daylight, backlit at night
  • Connector and outline matched to the wall plate

Result

The display fits the existing wall plate without changing the moulding, which kept the tooling cost of the controller unchanged.
