The requirement

Reverse-osmosis controllers are installed next to the tanks and pipework, so they see humidity, splashes and cold. The readout has to show water quality and system state at a glance.

What we supplied

  • Segment layout for TDS value, tank level, valve and pump state
  • Wide temperature range for unheated plant rooms
  • Transflective structure: readable in daylight, backlit for cabinets
  • Sealing agreed with the enclosure supplier

Why segment LCD

Water treatment parameters are fixed fields with alarm states. A segment display is easier to seal, cheaper and more readable in daylight than a small graphic module.
